The microfiber is genuinely plush, not scratchy like other quick-dry towels I've tried. It soaked up all the lake water off me in seconds, and it was already dry by the time we packed up the car.
Packed this down to the size of my fist for a beach day and it still dried me off completely after a dip. Was shocked how fast it air-dried on the way home, no musty smell in my bag.
The microfiber material is genuinely soft against wet skin, and I love that this towel folds down to almost nothing in my beach bag. It was completely dry within 15 minutes of hanging it on the deck chair.
