The microfiber is genuinely soft, not scratchy like other quick-dry towels I've tried, and it folds down small enough to shove in a beach bag pocket. Dried me off fast after a swim, and by the time we walked to the car it was already almost dry itself.
Took it to the beach last weekend and it dried off both me and my kid in one pass, then folded down to the size of a paperback in my bag. The microfiber texture feels way softer against wet skin than typical terry cloth, and it was completely dry by the time we drove home.
