The diamond pattern doesn't just look nice, it genuinely keeps my glasses from sliding around while they air dry. I've stopped reaching for a soggy dish towel every time I hand-wash, and the mat itself dries out pretty quickly between uses.

The diamonds actually catch the water and keep it off the counter, so I’m not constantly wringing out a soggy towel. My heavy cast-iron skillet sits right on it without the mat bunching up, and it dries overnight. I wish I’d switched to this ages ago.
